How to clean latex mattress
Latex mattresses do not need to be cleaned regularly. When using latex mattresses, a sheet should be placed on the surface and the sheets should be cleaned regularly. Generally, latex mattresses are not too dirty. But if the mattress is indeed dirty, you can clean it according to the following methods.
- Clean the surface dust
First, use a vacuum cleaner to clean the surface of the mattress and remove any dust, making it easier to wash later.
- Local hand washing.
If there are obvious stains, it can be hand washed locally, because latex mattresses have strong water absorption, and hand washing the entire mattress will be a big project. When hand washing, gently knead the stained area with neutral detergent until it is rinsed clean with water.
- Place it in a ventilated and dry place to air dry.
Never expose latex mattresses to direct sunlight, as natural latex is prone to oxidation, especially when exposed to ultraviolet radiation, which accelerates the aging process. Just air dry or shade dry in a dark place.
Latex mattresses may turn yellow after a period of use, which some people think is a quality issue, but in fact, it is a natural reaction. Latex is a natural material product that undergoes a natural oxidation reaction upon contact with air, so there is no need to worry too much.
